Welcome to Recon Brewing at Hastings!
Recon Brewing at Hastings is a craft brewery located in South Fayette, Pennsylvania - conveniently located in the Hastings housing plan off Mayview Rd. We first opened our doors in February 2022 and have quickly become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
At Recon Brewing, we take pride in crafting high-quality beers that are as unique as the people who drink them. Our taproom provides the perfect setting to enjoy a pint or two with friends, family, or colleagues. We offer a diverse range of beers, from traditional styles like IPAs and stouts to experimental and innovative brews. Join us at the taproom and experience the passion and creativity that goes into every pint we pour.
We do not accept reservations. Effective 1/1/24, this policy extends into Trivia Night in order to best accommodate all of our guests. If you are looking to book an event or bring a larger group to the taproom, please complete our 'Event Request Form' so that our management team can get in touch with you.
Our patio area is pet-friendly but our indoor taproom is not.
Craft Beer in Pittsburgh
Our tap list offers nine Recon Brewing beers, brewed at our original taproom in Butler, and one guest tap - typically a cider, mead, or seltzer. Growler fills are only available for the Recon Brewing beers on tap.
Recon Brewing at Hastings also offer specialty cocktails and wines. Our featured cocktails feature PA spirits, local wines, and carry Stateside Vodka Sodas.
For our guests who are not yet of legal drinking age, or who just wish to enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage, we offer a variety of mocktails, sodas, iced tea, lemonade, & juice boxes.
Wild Onyinz at Recon Brewing at Hastings
Great craft beer deserves great food. Recon Brewing Hastings has teamed up with Wild Onyinz, a Pittsburgh-area catering company, to bring a new brewery menu to our taproom. Their food is local, seasonal, and soulful, with elevated comfort classics that are classically unexpected.
What's On The Menu

Sandwiches: Try the Strawberry Brisket, a Texas smoked brisket sandwich with fontina and arugula, or the Pho Dip, served with pho broth for dunking.

Burgers: Double-smash burgers like the Wild Onyinz Burger come with caramelized onion, mushrooms, and Yinzer sauce.

Starters: Pretzel sticks with beer cheese and chicken and waffle bites with bourbon-maple syrup are made for sharing over a pint.
